Regular Visits

Typically, when you come in for a routine office visit, you will sign in at the front desk.  From this point, you will be given a room number to go into, and, following a set of instructions from the doctor, you will go to your assigned room, leave your treatment card in the holder on the door, and close your door.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

You will then prepare yourself for an adjustment from the doctor by lying down on an treatment table, breathing slowly to relax your body. The doctor will be right in and check on how you are doing before adjusting you. Sometimes, patients receive different types of therapies to aid them in their care.

If you are receiving a therapy, you will be guided to the therapy department. After therapy, you simply go to the front, schedule the next appointment, or confirm one that is already pre-scheduled, and you are on your way. A typical office visit can take any where from 10 minutes to about 45.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Knoxville residents - Chiropractor Knoxville Dr. David Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Where do most Knoxville residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Knoxville newborn.
